TCWC’s Barrel Proof Cherry Whiskey features the same mash bill (75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malt barley) and recipe (infused with 10 pounds of Montmorency sour cherries harvested in Leelanau County for three days) but featuring a blend of six hand-selected 5–6-year-old bourbon barrels and bottled at a higher proof. Whiskey lovers can purchase a 750ml bottle at both The Stillhouse in Traverse City and The Outpost in Ferndale, MI, for $89.99. Limit (2) bottles per customer.

“Prepare to be captivated by the craftsmanship, passion, and heritage behind the Traverse City Whiskey brand throughout the Cherry Whiskey Fest,” said Chris Fredrickson, Co-founder, TCWC. “Barrel Proof Cherry Whiskey is extremely authentic to northern Michigan and exhibits a subtle cherry taste. Folks who aren’t necessarily fans of flavored whiskey will appreciate this higher-proof version.”
