Louisville, KY (April 30, 2024) – Barrell Craft Spirits® (BCS) first non-cask strength bourbon, Barrell Foundation, struck Double Gold at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), the largest international spirits competition in the United States. With two decades of experience, the SFWSC is one of the most respected competitions in the world. Judging is blind and done by a prestigious panel of nationally recognized distilled spirits judges, each selected for their distinct and trusted palate.

Barrell Foundation is a blend of Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Maryland bourbon whiskeys all ranging from five to nine years and bottled at 100-proof (50% ABV). The expression features a derived mashbill of 73% corn, 23% rye, and 4% malted barley. It can be enjoyed neat and works well in classic cocktails like an Old Fashioned. The new ongoing release, which is available at fine retailers throughout the U.S. and online, has a suggested retail price of $59.99 per 750ml bottle.
